Back in January of last year, I wrote a post wishing that they would put the TV series "thirtysomething" out on DVD.
IT WAS JUST RELEASED!!! Well, the first season anyway.
Now to sit and stew while the first feeding frenzy happens. After that, the ebay sales will begin and I can pick it off cheap. Hell, it's going for thirty bucks right now, free shipping! We'll see how long I hold out.

I remember liking that show but not really understanding what some of the conflicts were about. I bet I'd get them now!

Yes, I am looking forward to seeing the show again from my current standpoint as a married woman with a house of my own. Many of the situations the show dealt with were the transformation from college student to "adult with relationship" or "adult with house" or "adult with kids"... the stuff nobody tells you about.
Can't wait to get my hands on it!
I found out through a bit of research that my favorite episode, where Hope finds a diary from a WWII wife who used to live in her house, is in season 2... so I still have to wait for that one to come out. That was the best episode EVER.
