Oh my what wonderful photos...you are a great photographer M and what a great day that looks like!..remind me..what is your scottish connection?and don't men look great in kilts??
Libby, my ancestors hail from Clan MacRae, on my mom's side of the family. My husband's ancestors from Clan MacLennan, on his dad's side. And yes, men look great in kilts! My husband wore a kilt at our wedding, and I can tell you, it makes the honeymoon so much easier!8-)
What great pictures! Hot pirates and men in kilts?! Jackpot!Clan Cameron here.
Hail and well met, Joan of the Camerons! 8-) Knew you'd love the pirates... heh.
Of men and birds - oh dear, I don't have to make a choice, do I??? ;-)Gorgeous subjects, beautifully captured, Marcheline! That dining room would look good in my castle, er, oh well ....
Merisi - thanks for your kinds words! You've shared so many lovely photos with me over the years, I'm glad to be able to share some with you.
LOVE IT!!! Highland games and sun - and warmth - and SUNTANNED men in kilts. Brown knees!!!!!Who knew such things could exist? And your own American touches - the Marines: now that's classy. But talking of brown - the trees are brown. Is that because of your hot summer? Our season of Highland games is drawing to a close. It's Mrs Queen's local do this weekend at the Braemar Gathering. Fittingly, it's the headline on the BBC Scotland news page today : http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/scotland/I hope the Long Island Games got a headline or two.
Say what's on your mind!
