Part of the whole National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) scheme is that they put inspirational little ideas up on their website to help you get through an entire month of writing without losing every last shred of sanity you started with. In my case, that's not so much of an issue.
However, one of the better ideas they suggested was not sitting still for too many hours in a row. They suggested getting up every once in a while and putting some great dancing music on, and having a good old fashioned boogie down session to get the blood flowing back up to the brain.
I fully endorse this - let's try it at once! Never mind if you're writing a novel or not, you know you've been sitting there at your computer, reading blogs and eating Cheetos for hours. I summon you! Get off your kiesters! AND DANCE WITH ME!!!
Ha, ha - love this version!! Apparently in 1980 "Moscow" topped the Australian charts and remained #1 for six weeks. That says an awful lot about Australians!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite things is how they know they're being completely ridiculous, but they put their hearts into it and pull it off just the same... I love this video!
